Bet You Were Surprised? So Am I.....

Kelly P. just alerted me to the fact that the post I put up yesterday with a Decorated Chain Stitch Video was not what I posted. Oh my goodness everyone. I am so sorry. I uploaded the video onto Blogger yesterday at the library and I guess whatever got onto my blog was not my Decorated Chain Stitch Video but something she called "a very explicit porn video." I can't check from here (dial-up) but I'm just believing her and I took the post down.

YIKES! How did this happen and how come noone else told me????? I'm so sorry if you got the shock of your lifetime. Here you are coming to a nice little stitching blog and what do you get???? Wow. Sorry. Sorry. Sorry.

Come to think of it, I got a couple odd e-mail notifications and subscribers. Mystery.... Sorry again.

  1. I didn't see anything weird. I actually watched your video of the Decorated Chain Stitch. Not sure how the "other" video got there after I watched yours.

  5. I downloaded the video with NetNewsWire (my blog reader) and I got the right video: a square with some hearts in it.

  7. I didn't try to watch, but I know someone who had something similar happen. When you use the "embed" function from the right-hand side of the youtube page, there is a box automatically checked that says "include related videos." Make sure you uncheck this box to prevent a completely unrelated video from appearing where your link should be.

  8. I wonder if Kelly P's computer was the one with the problem. I watched the chain stitch video as well.

  9. I, too, saw an informative video about embellishing with chain stitch. . .maybe Kelly's computer has the issue.

  10. It definitely was the person notifying you computer that was hacked with a different video so it did not happen with you. Especially since so many people got the right one, I did too! Pamie

  25. Just so's you know, the feed is still there in Reader, even though you deleted the post. That's just the way the subscription services work. Doesn't matter, because the correct video shows when I click on the feed link.
I guess it's just one of the mysteries of the internet.
