The Farmer is THE Cover Farmer on Country Folks New England

Our sheep farm Leyden Glen Farm is featured in the newest issue of Country Folks New England with an article written by Anne Buchanan. Here's the cover shot....


We are rather excited. It's the first big article about our sheep farm which reaches a larger market than just little old Greenfield. Here is a link to the article!

    Congratulations on the article and the cover! The article was interesting; I agree with Diana - I chuckled at that line, too. I also was disappointed to learn that it cost more money to shear the sheep than you could make from the wool. I hope 2012 is a good year for you; your blog is one of my favorites and I really enjoy reading about and seeing all of it - the knitting, the beauty of and the not so beautiful parts of farm life, the recipes, the ups and downs. Thanks for sharing.

    Nice article - congratulations! The part about knitters not eating meat cracked me up, too! You forgot to mention your meat customers' pickup location in the parking lot at WEBS! If you're trying to keep that a secret, it's not working!
