I'm dow...We raise German Shorthaired Pointers. I'm down to one hen and, frankly, I'm surprised she survived the winter alone in the coop. She's still chugging along giving me an egg a day but sad that we won't have any peeps since I don't have a rooster either. I love our dogs but hate that they can be escape artists who always find their way to the chicken coop or duck enclosure.
