Brie the kitten is still here and waiting to go to our friend David's house when he gets back from vacation.
Judy, one of my students from the summer class here at the farm picked up Mia the other day. Wearing a gorgeous purple sweater vest with cables and multi-colored bobbles. Mia has a great home and we have been receiving photos!
The other two kittens went home with visitors who were here on a photo shoot a couple weeks ago. So we are all set and down to only little Delilah who is staying.
Busy week here going over the galleys for my next book and getting ready for the Two Day "Getting Stitched on the Farm" class here this weekend. Totally gorgeous fall weather with days in the 70's and cool evenings. The leaves are beginning to change to gold tones. No frost yet and I am hoping my last few rows of sunflowers will bloom before frost.
Good week everyone!

Did you already announce the winner of the Kaffe Fassett book? Maybe I missed it.

Congratulations Mary. Please contact me.
Thanks So much Kristin, I emailed you.
Love the afghan little Delilah is curled up on...did you make it? And do you sell your work?
I made the afghan following a typical granny square pattern. No, I do not sell my work. I do sell knitting and crochet patterns that are instrux for others to follow and make my work.

Thanks Kristin, I have done some knitting, but really want to learn to crochet...love granny square afghans! The colors you used are gorgeous! Oh how I love color!
I love this weather so much - highs in the low 70s, lows in the 50s at night. I bet it's a little chillier out west where you are. Still lovely.
