Here's some more scary fun and creativity from the Annual Kiwanis Scarecrow Festival in the park in Bernardston. Enjoy the goblins tonight!
The Beatles haven't missed a festival yet.
The old woman who lived in a shoe with so many children!
My entries that year ended up being pretty representative of part of this household. Here's the The Scary Knitter.
I heard they didn't have enough scarecrows so I whipped up The Sheep Farmer.
Here Julia is with her Mom and Dad Scarecrow.
"Oh Mom, when will you ever stop?"
That's funny. Nawww...never stop, Mom!
ReplyDeleteThose are really cute scarecrows! Nice to see that there are still people out there who have fun with the holidays! Awesome job!
ReplyDeleteGreat sweater on Julia. I love that she and the girls had a scarecrow of their own. What a terrific event.
ReplyDeleteWhen you're too grown up to enjoy Hallowe'en you're too grown up :)
ReplyDeleteWe went to see the scarecrows just before sundown tonight (Halloween).
ReplyDeletePixie was ENTRANCED by the sheep farmer and kept petting his little sheep and talking to the farmer. I like how the magazine page was open to an ad/story for your book!
Julia's scarecrow is very nice!
We're going to enter next year, for sure.
What a wonderful way for the whole community to participate and enjoy the Fall holidays. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteWhat fun. I would love to see something like this in our community. Love your scary knitter. I can so relate to her some days.
