We went up to Lake Champlain to celebrate my birthday. During the two short days we were there, the colors changed so much. I find that taking photos of foilage is really difficult. It just never looks as beautiful as when you are actually there in real time. Zooming in sometimes helps.

I love this spot on the road outside of Middlebury at the campus for the Bread Loaf Writer's Conference. The colors here were incredible.

Closer to home, I found these bits of fall color.

Enjoy the season. It is definitely my favorite time of year.

Happy belated birthday. I hope your year is filled with beauty, creativity, and love! Your photos are amazing. I always find my photos of fall foliage always fall short of the "real" thing. I am hoping that I will be able to get some great shots this weekend on my way to Rhinebeck! Best always,Alissa
ReplyDeleteI'm with you on the time of year. I got a new camera yesterday and immediately took some more photos. Later this afternoon I'm going painting with three other gals to a local park. They work in watercolor, I work in oils. Can't wait!
