Where to Stay Close to Leyden Glen Farm

The Brandt House
A beautiful B&B in a neighborhood just off the main street in Greenfield. It is a beautiful old Victorian home with a large wrap around porch and lovely gardens. Nine lovely rooms which are all different prices between $135 and well over $200. There is an option for a shared bath for $135 with twin beds for budget minded people. Close to downtown so that you can walk to dinner at Hope and Olive, The People's Pint, Magpie, Mesa Verde and more.
An easy to drive seven miles and 19 minutes from our farm. Mention my name.

The Inn at Crumpin-Fox in Bernardston
7 miles and 18 minutes from our farm.
This is a privately owned hotel built in 1979 which was originally built to accommodate the golfers who play at the world renowned CrumpinFox Golf Course nearby. It has just been re-done and Julia and I toured it recently. Convenient to Route 91, it is features a continental breakfast. It is close to Northfield Mt. Hermon (the private prep school) so frequently fills up fast.
Tell them you are coming to the Kristin Nicholas Knitting Retreat and they will give you a slightly better price. Purchase on Expedia or you will pay more (so says the host).
Rates are around $159 for a double room weekends.

Hampton Inn in Greenfield - At the I-91 Rotary in Greenfield - about 15 minutes from our farm

Days Inn in Greenfield - Next to the Hampton Inn at the I-91 Rotary in Greenfield, about 15 minutes from our farm. A little shabbier than the Hampton Inn.

Air BNB has several listings nearby.

Our good friends Chris Coffin and Roland Kinsman own Eden Pond Farm and they offer a room that will sleep 5. Their farm is just over the hill from us about 6 minutes away in Bernardston. If you are coming as a group, it will be a reasonable option. Mention my name when booking. Just off Rt. 91 and just up the hill from Kringle Candle.

A student last year stayed at this Air BNB and was happy. And here. Nothing fancy but reasonable.
