The students will be arriving tomorrow morning and we'll be spending two days together knitting away. I hope they all have a nice time and I look forward to meeting all of them. There is still some room in the August 14/15th class if you are interested.
I'll leave you with this awesome photo of our neighbor Patty's Great Dane PUPPY Nicki. Isn't she beautiful? I asked Patty if she would mind me photographing Nicki with a floral lei around her neck. Nicki is so incredibly well-behaved and trained. I can't believe how BIG she is getting. Thanks Patty!

And that dog -- what can I say? She looks like she's been waiting all her young life to be adorned with flowers. Hooray puppies and yarn flowers.
Loving your neighbors dog! My daughter has a 2 year old great dane in her life and while I am chicken around most dogs, this large, gentle giant named Dakota is somehow my favorite! I'll show your wonderful photo to our Dakota and see if she gets jealous of the flower lei :)
The view is fantastic - I could look at that forever.
Nicki is wonderful - what a perfectly gorgeous/handsome model. She looks so good in her lei. She also, as a puppy, looks to be already bigger than my 50lb shepherd mix.
