Another Storm Here in Western Massachusetts

Before I could even post the photos from the last storm, we are being hit by another today and tomorrow. Turning to sleet and ice and we've got our fingers crossed we don't lose power. Here are some photos from last week. Enjoy.....

Lovely pictures - you've got very photogenic sheep :-D and I love the one of the upstairs window. Hope you don't lose power.

Oh, how beautiful! Do the sheep really LOVE being out in it ... or are they just ... stoic?

It's beautiful! I wouldn't mind snow like that just as long as the pantry is full and there is a nice warm fireplace to sit in front off.

Ooh - send some of that gorgeous snow my way. Beautiful pictures!

The sheep don't seem to mind the snow..says alot for the miracle of "wool"!! Beautiful pictures. I just want to tell you that I received your book "Color by Kristin" for Christmas and just love it. I can't decide where to begin..I'm new to fair isle. Thanks for such a great book.

Those are outstanding pictures. My hat is off to you, especially since you were out standing in the snow to take them. (I didn't intend that pun, but I can't resist them.)
I may be in the minority, but I much prefer these to the Hipstamatics. I have a suspicion that the Hipstamatic photos offer more enjoyment to the taker than the viewer. But then, if I had the Apple equipment, I'd probably go nuts for them too.

Love your pictures, but I have to say, No Thank You. I will take my January weather, 60's and sunny. Keep warm!

I'm glad the sheep have nice wooly coats!

I'm hoping the sheep are warm enough in all their wooliness! I sure miss the snow! I've been transplanted to the SF Bay Area from the Chicago suburbs... Big change!

Western New York is a lovely area. Sheep question, why don't there feet get cold standing in deep snow.

I share the pictures of the farm with my kids. They always enjoy seeing the changes the seasons bring to both the farm and sheep. After we admire the pictures, I give thanks I live outside of NYC and we have less severe versions of the storms you have!

I love these images - your home and your herd are amazing. My golden retriever won't go out and do "his business" because of the hard crust on the snow - we clearly need some sheep of our own here in NYS to mark some trails!!!

Sheep certainly make snow pictures more picturesque!

WOW! I miss living in a snowy climate. We get an inch of snow and think it is something great. Thanks for sharing the beautiful pictures.

Those sheep are the cutest! I know it's going to sound ridiculous to complain, but I live in the Bay Area in California and we have nothing but sunshine predicted for the next ten days (we've already had 5 days of it) so that snow is looking really good to me. I want winter to be WINTER and it looks like you've got it in spades!

It warmed up here in the South but your photos have a warmth that winter brings. Snuggle in and knit!

Great photos! It seems like your sheep are doing the same as ours: line up and walk in a long, long line...not in the snowstorm, but afterwards. It is so fun to see.
