I heard about this movie and downloaded it on Netflix awhile ago. It really shows the truth of working stock. A little difficult to watch in places, but well worth it.
I have so much more respect for where our wool and meat comes from.
This was shown at the Big Sky Documentary Film Festival here in Missoula last year and it won best film!
Great stuff. :)
Well, yesterday you had me signing up to knit a hat for a Congressman and today you have me adding Sweetgrass to my Netflix queue--first place. I'm not only learning about the farming way of life, but you have introduced me to many other things! Thanks so much for your wonderful blog--I love it--

I want to see this movie, and my husband who loves cowboys Westerns and the land where this was filmed will love it too. Thanks for the heads up!
Amazing, thanks for the link. We love our sheep in NZ, but this is epic.
Thanks for pointing out this movie. I'm also going to put in on my Netflix queue.
I've been dealing with a handful of disasters, including the loss of my domain name. Please come visit me at my new home: www.caffeinegirlknits.com
This movie looks awesome! Unfortunately it isn't available on our Netflix (Canada) yet but I'll certainly watch out for it coming up. Thanks!
Enjoyed the movie! Thanks for the heads-up!
