Thanks! At last, I got the jump on my Mr. Science Brother and sent him the Nasa site. I'm watching the moon out my loft window as I check out my favorite blogs and listen to folkmusic on Public Radio. Now,I'll take a break to check for lambs. Betsy
We were on our way home from a dinner last night and I commented on the moon to the others in the car. Now I know why it looked so large.
It was beautiful and we were lucky to have a clear night to see it.The article answered something I was wondering about... How _much_ closer was the moon? +/- 31,000 miles.
