Today's Lambs

When I go to the barn, I usually bring my camera to take photos after chores are done. The lambs are really so cute and photogenic. It is amazing how fast they grow though. It is like they become teenagers overnight. Here are some photos from Sunday afternoon. The light is best then too.

This little black and white one is just so cute. It wasn't very active for about a week but yesterday it was out and about. It's twin is much larger than it. It seems to be out of the woods now.

Since life isn't about lambs all the time, I want to share this great fix-it product I found. It is called SUGRU. I use it for all kinds of things that break around here. They send a monthly newsletter and I love to see how others fix things around their house too. I especially like this fix to make a tea kettle easier to pour for a visually impaired woman. Julia has some bits of trouble with normal household tasks and I am now trying to remember to see if I can use SUGRU to make things easier for her too. And no I wasn't paid to write this. I just find the product so useful and think you all may too.

These pictures are so heart warming. The lambs are adorable... big job raising sheep.. I wish I lived closer to take one of your classes at the farm...

I used sugru to fix my old enamel compost bucket which developed a rust hole in the bottom. Works perfectly now!

Your lamb photos are so darling. By the way, where do you get Sugru? Do you check ewes in the middle of the night? My friend does and they are nowlambing here in WY, though not as many as you have. Take care.

You describe farm life so well. It helps me accept and not feel guilty about the chain of life. I love animals so much, but it's sort of poke "there is a season...." Does that make sense?
