I was there on set-up day. Here are some pretty walls stored in the warehouse that are used for other shows. Love the colors.
There is so much work that goes into a television production. It takes many, many people to make it happen. I am only a small part of the pie. Before we arrive, the set is constructed and the sheetrock walls are retaped and repainted. Here one of the guys is doing a quick repair to a seam that was looking wonky. Looks like home! Plastic draped over the display of yarn and props. This is less than an hour before filming begins.
After the taping is finished, they take photos of it all and pack it away on palettes. Here it is - all ready to be put up again.
This is our set-up room with a green screen and long tables with all the projects laid out and ready to go on set. That's Sandi Rosner and Amy Herzog working diligently. Amy is one of the new experts.
Here is the supply of needles we use donated by Boye Needle Co.
We have a new set color - a pretty teal blue and marigold walls.
On the walls are some beautiful blue/green medallions. Isn't it pretty?
I'll be back with more photos tomorrow.

Can't wait to see more. I love your blog.
Oooo... "Treats"! :-D
BTW, if there happens to be a Rep from Boye hanging around the Set, could you put a request in for "6mm & higher DPNs" in METAL..?!! -- I have yet to find Anyone who makes them... I like working in that size, but I refuse to use Plastic ones!
Anyhoo, Sweetie, *ENJOY* your "work-cation"!
:-D
