2015 Arrives

Wishing all your dreams come true for 2015 my dear friends. We've had a few quiet days here at the farm, enjoying the time off and chance to be together. Here are some photos from the last couple weeks that feel wintery and holiday-ish. I hope you all have enjoyed the short days and the holiday season. If you are lucky to have extra time off with your family, make the most of it!

Happy 2015 everyone!

Happy 2015! I gave my daughter your embroidery book for Christmas and she has gone all creative on me! We had to search the house for embroidery thread ("I know I have some somewhere...") and next thing she was sewing on an envelope that hadn't made it to the recycling yet and she now has all my pillow cases that weren't already on pillows. The first one came home with wonderful polka dots and my initials, and I'm afraid the rest won't come home at all--she's doing them for other people. :D

Wishing you all a peaceful, happy and healthy 2015 from us here in Winchester, UK. My motto for the year is Onwards & Upwards - I think it's the only way to go. I'll raise a glass to collie dogs and creativity too! Ax

*HAPPY NEW YEAR*!! xxx

Love the pics! BTW, are those Staffordshire figurines..? Very cute and "in Period" with your House. I shall have to keep a "lookout" for similar Sheep... [When not being "stitchy", I'm an avid "Curio"-Scavenger!]

Speaking of stitchiness...
@ANNE -- ;-D Sounds like you have a STITCH-ZILLA on your hands! A not so bad thing. At least She's putting your GIFT to *USE*!

Well, must get back to my own Needles and Sheepish by-products...

Such pretty images. That tree must not have been farmed, it was like the kind my dad used to bring home in the fifties and sixties. The dinning room photo is fabulous. Thank you and happy new year!

Happy New Year. Thanks for your wonderful photos of sheep dogs and woods. Your place is wonderful and your decorations great. Thanks for sending me your crochet book that you signed for my daughter Kelley. She loves it out in CA. And thanks for your blog.

I love your tree! It lit up like a giant five-point star! Of course, your decor choices leave me breathless and envious. Such color and personality. Have a blessed 2015!

So sorry about Phoebe. They just worm their way into our hearts, don't they? Also, got a giggle from the top of your tree bending against the ceiling! Awesome!
