Until Next Year

Last week I cut all the blooming flowers in my garden for fear of a frost. Here they are on the porch table ready to be spread around the house. Oh, I will miss these bright and happy colors and shapes.

What about you - has Jack Frost arrived yet in your neighborhood?

Not in my little microclimate, but all around me, yes. Begonias still going strong and my rhododendron starting blooming again a week ago!

Saw my breath out your way (western MA @ the Carle Museum) the other day;), we took a lil trip. Wicked cold here in Maine. Sniff...there's always crafts and baking! Ann from Maine

When we left for our trip to Cornwall, our favourite rose busy still had a few lonely buds. I'm hoping for at least another few weeks without frost. Your sunflowers and dahlias are beautiful, even if they are the final blooms of the summer. Awesome jugs too!
