Thank You.....

Or thank ewe..... Sorry, I couldn't resist.

Oh my goodness.... I can't believe the fabulous names you all have given us for our beautiful white rooster I posted the other day. Keep 'em coming.... if you're shy, there's still time. We sure are going to have a fun time choosing. It is so nice of you all to be so creative and thoughtful and humorous too!

Susan from Nashua/Westminster is thrilled with all the great questions you have sent her. I'm not quite sure what I'm in for yet, but I can't wait to see what you are curious about. And if you sent me a question directly, I have forwarded it to her. There's still time today if you've just thought of something you'd like to send.

There were lots of comments about my granny square afghan. The pattern I used is just the basic one that is in all kinds of books and it looks like this one. Here's another great site with all kinds of "granny obsessed participants." Quite fun to poke around. As for seaming the squares together, I use my favorite mattress stitch working with the right sides of the fabric facing me. You can find instructions for it at the bottom of this page.

Hope to see some of you tomorrow in Lenox at Colorful Stitches!

I love the photo of the three little sheep! It looks as though they're sharing a secret.

Kristin,

I do believe it's how you put color together that reflects beauty so deeply. I don't like all granny squares but yours makes me want to learn. Very inspiring. I think of your world covered in white now with the brillance of color is all you do and how you live!
