As the Sun Sets

My favorite time of day is when the sun is setting. We don't have a true full-blown, colorful sunset here because the sun rises behind our mountain view. But at sunset, when my neighbors are looking at their colorful sunsets, we watch the light fade and disappear from our hill. The light slowly crawls up the hill until it disappears until the morning.

Our sheep are finally back in our home pastures, doing a nice job on the grass that has grown since they were last here. Every night, The Farmer moves the fences so they can have some new grass.

The Border Collies, Phoebe and Ness, are really glad the sheep are back close to the house. It gives them something official to look after all day long.

I haven't seen Phoebe quite this happy in a while.

Your BCs are just so beautiful. Lucky pups that they get to play with sheep all day :)

I chanced upon your blog and was delighted to find the beautiful scenery I had just passed on my way home from Sturbridge yesterday.
The dogs are intense on their duty and the enjoyment shows.
I shall continue to explore your posts.

There really is nothing as nice as the truly glowing smile of a happy dog, is there?
