Let's just say... almost finished. I love knitting these little Knit It Felt It Zip It Bags. They are instant gratification, make great gifts, and are totally useful objects. Here's a new one I have almost finished. Just have to sew the lining in. That's the lining I'm using behind the bag. Doesn't it look great - stripes and graphic triangles...
On one side, I added a felted crochet flower for a bit of hopefulness for the upcoming summer blooms.
You can purchase the pattern for the Knit It Felt It Zip It Bags for more instant gratification PDF download on my website here. It's a great little project to grab and knit if you are traveling somewhere this weekend to be with family or friends.
My friend Karin Strom told me about this fabulous magazine and website. It's called Hand and Eye and it's about all things textile and culturally related. They have a great newsletter that they send out frequently. There's a paper magazine edition too which is chock-full of interesting bits, some even about knitting. Check it out here....
Happy Weekend Everyone!
